"Field In February" ©

The sun showed herself today and a few of us went out painting in what we call "Rod's field". I can walk there from my place and I was thinking how lucky I am to have a lovely spot so close to home.
Oil on panel, 8" X 10"

Looks like it will be beautiful Laura!... Glad you had a great time.
Isn't it great when there are beautiful spots right near your home??

Marjolein.... don't know what shipping would be to Holland, but EasyL and other companies that make the pochade boxes and wet canvas carriers do ship. I bought mine online.

Marjolein, Marian is right, in America we have several companies that build easels for outdoor painting. The one in my photo is an EasyL (11" X 14") by Artwork Essentials. I also have several Guerrilla boxes that are designed for both a tripod and your lap. They are balanced and won't tip over for "in the car" painting. Also check out Open Box M and Soltek. If you google Pochade Box a bunch will come up. The EasyL has a wet panel carrier built in the back for 2 panels, a great feature. All of them are much easier to use then the French easel. Happy shopping! Laura
