"Laguna Cliffs" ©

While painting I imagine the sand in between my toes walking along the water, sun warming my shoulder that faces the light. Lastly wondering if I will be able to round the cliff edge or if the tide will have blocked my way. I took my time on this painting and enjoyed every second of the process.

Oh good, this one is close. I showed it to a group for critique and here are the suggestions. Brighten up the light on the most distant dark rocks. Carry the light green/blue to the other side of the closest dark rocks. Add some warmer greens on the most distant cliff brushes. I totally agree with all of these suggestions and feel so fortunate to have friendly "eyeballs" that will give me a good critique.
