Once this layer is dry, I am going to create interest in the foreground, re-state the trunks in different values and move one of the the masses of brush in the water back to a different plane. Also I want to create a third value in the distant mountain to add to the structure/bones of it. Then I want to put the leaves in again but create a light pattern. Most of this has to happen later, what you see is painted pretty thin. I hope in the end it will be a nice gallery piece. It's great to be painting again, post holidays. I am sure you are back at it fast and furious too. Keep the brush wet!
