"Jackson Lake, Winter" ©

The snow was a "no show" this week, after several days of warm weather.  Yet, the merry band of plein air painters went on our planned trip to paint the white stuff.  The shore of Jackson Lake was colored in the muted grays of winter.  One fellow that pulled over to see what I was painting said this little lake is the most beautiful spot in the area, no matter what time of year.  I agree....

Oil on panel, 12" X 12"

Hi Laura, Sorry you didn't find snow, but if you had we wouldn't get to see this little beauty. How do you do it? God must have made you like 'Edward Scissor-hands' only with brushes on your fingertips! Joy

What can I say? Other then thank you for the incredibly nice comments. Gexton, I don't usually say much about "life" but our home has been under construction since November, my husband and I have done almost all of the work ourselves. We are getting closer to being done everyday, then I can take off my hard hat and just wear my painting hat everyday!
