Before the sprinkles fell, a small group of us painted together in Live Oak Park off Sand Canyon. Nice spot, endless views to paint, safe and quiet. Once in a while a motorcycle would come screaming around the bend in the road, driver covered in leathers bent low, but that was about the only distraction.

Hi Laura,
This is really nice Laura.

Thank you Ruth, I took the painting to a critique session and it was suggested that I take one side of the tree on the right and lift it up off the ground, lessen the scallops of light in the same tree and make the trunk more interesting. I like the suggestions and will take a brush to it tomorrow. Thank goodness for artists that are willing to give good critiques.
