Small daily oil paintings, painted in a plein air impressionistic style on stretched canvas or canvas board created and posted regularly. 2012 update: After 6 years, the postings now include larger paintings along with the small works. My goal is to reach 1,000 paintings posted by the end of this year. 2013 update: The original goal was met and exceeded, from now on I will post paintings that are successful or might be of interest.
Today's painting is a larger version of yesterday's little study. I made some adjustments and will keep on tweaking till it all makes sense, are we ever really done?
Thanks Marian and Jose! Yes Jose, your right on the money and I'll back it off for sure. I have attacked it once but will keep tweaking ever so gently so I don't go past the point of what is right. Please feel free to critique me up one side and down the other, I need it and appreciate it so much.

Love love love the background. I will offer some unasked-for critique and suggest that the foliage in the front may be a bit too coll and bright?
I always enjoy your comments on what you said you were going to alter in order to make the larger painting work.
