"Mario and Tilly" ©

Silent film star William S. Hart owned a ranch a few miles away, which is now a park. Very early the other morning I was headed to the back wilderness area of Hart Park and met Mario walking Tilly. The early morning light grazing his shirt and Tillys fur stopped me dead in my tracks.

Rene, I looked at all of the blogs that you offered in your comment. You are absolutely right! There is something very special in painting plein air that just can't be felt in the studio. Your paintings are just lovely, moody, simple palette and very elegant. Laura
