"Inlet, Morning" ©

The sun is rising and catching the tops of the trees and brush across the inlet. The water is so calm that bird calls skate across the water forever.

Your work this year has been
beautiful. I check it daily and feel like I'm taking a vacation.
It transports me. You capture a
unique sense of place.
Looking forward to more.

Joe, I thank you for the encouragement, it's greatly appreciated. There is a tiny book, called "The Art Of Travel", the author discusses how past generations hung paintings of exotic places in their homes, as if a portal to a far away land was right in their living room. I wonder if paintings play the same role today. Maybe?

Sometimes you run across a painting that you wish you would have made it yourself, .... this is one of them!! Envy me! ;-)

Thank you Rene! I hope you are feeling better and the weather is welcoming you outside to paint. Your comment has made my heart smile.
