"Santa Clara River, Winter" ©

Today a small band of artists met at the edge of the Santa Clara River to paint together. At the end of our paint out, we each shared our mornings efforts. They were all beauties. The McDonald's where we had our mini art show, never looked so good. It is always amazing how ten artists can observe the same view and their artwork is completely unique.
To the lovely lady on the bike, if you ever would care to join us, please do!

Had I known you and your friends were out there painting I would've gone there to watch you. Darn I missed that.

HI Mari, You would be welcome anytime, to watch, draw or paint. If you send me your email I can add you to the plein air mailing list and you will recieve the locations/dates/times each month. The host organization is the Santa Clarita Artists Association, which welcomes everyone. We have a great time. This month we are off to the Redwoods near Johnsondale, Ca. Usually the paint outs are in the Santa Clarita Valley. Thanks for looking and I hope to meet you someday. Laura

Thanks Laura. If I ran into you again, like that time at the Farmers' Market in Newhall, I will surely introduce myself. I'll enter my email address on your sidebar.
