Small daily oil paintings, painted in a plein air impressionistic style on stretched canvas or canvas board created and posted regularly. 2012 update: After 6 years, the postings now include larger paintings along with the small works. My goal is to reach 1,000 paintings posted by the end of this year. 2013 update: The original goal was met and exceeded, from now on I will post paintings that are successful or might be of interest.
Foxes Field is down the canyon from me in the so close to town and yet town feels like a million miles away. Three deer crossed my path and coyotes howled down the canyon. The promise of rain was not kept.
I am working day and night and have found that I much prefer the painting part of our job rather then the organization / mailing/ framing stuff. Once long ago a painting buddy wanted to hire a student to do paper work and I just couldn't justify it, now it's clear as day.
