"Jackson Lake" ©

Yesterday my family wanted to run up to the snow for a day of skiing. I opted to paint and found this little lake near the lifts. I had a fun talking to the fishermen and tourist, answering the usual questions:
1. How long did that take you?
2. Do you sell those things?
3. Will you paint me too?
4. Do you give lessons?
and of course all of the stories of their painting relatives.
Mostly I enjoyed the sounds of the mountain, wind in the trees, birds singing and fish jumping.

This is a lovely piece, Laura. Know what you mean about the gawkers, bless their hearts.

You are always so gracious, Laura... I'll bet you were the highlight of their day.
Love this piece... especially the floating debris in the foreground and how the light is hitting it.

Nice reflection in he water Laura, pretty with the blue near the floating grasses.Feels like that time of year when the last snow of the season has fallen.
