Oil on Panel, 10" X 12"
Small daily oil paintings, painted in a plein air impressionistic style on stretched canvas or canvas board created and posted regularly. 2012 update: After 6 years, the postings now include larger paintings along with the small works. My goal is to reach 1,000 paintings posted by the end of this year. 2013 update: The original goal was met and exceeded, from now on I will post paintings that are successful or might be of interest.

"Streaks of Sun"
Walking along the path with my painting buddies, the views to paint were endless on this December day. What caught my eye was the streaks of sun across the brush and sandy path. The wind blew one easel over and thank goodness we recovered all the Rosemary Brushes that flew to the ground. All we left behind, lost in the bushes, is a favorite painting knife that we will go back and hunt for.

It sounds like a good excuse to go back to this beautiful spot.
Wow!!
Bet it's covered in snow now... Will you be going out to paint snow??
no snow at our level but the mountains all around are topped in the white stuff. I would love to explore snow in paint, maybe after Christmas we can plan a "girls paint the white stuff" trip. I know your game Marian, let's do it!
