Small daily oil paintings, painted in a plein air impressionistic style on stretched canvas or canvas board created and posted regularly. 2012 update: After 6 years, the postings now include larger paintings along with the small works. My goal is to reach 1,000 paintings posted by the end of this year. 2013 update: The original goal was met and exceeded, from now on I will post paintings that are successful or might be of interest.

"Kern River, Morning"
Winter mid-week on the Kern River, completely quiet and void of human activity. A nice place to sit and think for a while.
I loved our all gals trip. This is a nice reminder. Visited Segil today. Just LOVE your seascape there... Always love your work Laura... but that one is extra special.
Thanks Marian, that show has a bunch of real gems. I want to go back to the gallery and really look at each painting without having to peek around tons of people. See you Sunday.
