"Marilyn Posing" ©

I had the chance to paint Marilyn again, on a smaller panel. What a face she has and you can't turn your back on her. I have no clue what she will do, bite, trample, lick? The folks at the Gentle Barn just told me not to and with an animal that big you don't question the authorities.
Oil on Panel, 12" X 12"

Laura... Your animals are always awesome...

I wonder ..... Your description says 12 by 12 but the photo doesn't look square... Did you crop it???

Marilyn is a wonderful beast!!!

I did crop the image in the camera. Paul the photographer expert suggested putting a piece of black behind odd sized canvases so that I could shot without distracting stuff. Last night when I was going to blog I couldn't find that elusive black foam core board that is floating around, so I just zoomed in on Marilyn till I couldn't see anything but the painting. Marilyn is wonderful and I just found out they are going to have babies at the ranch soon.
