Oil on Panel, 5" X 7"
soldSmall daily oil paintings, painted in a plein air impressionistic style on stretched canvas or canvas board created and posted regularly. 2012 update: After 6 years, the postings now include larger paintings along with the small works. My goal is to reach 1,000 paintings posted by the end of this year. 2013 update: The original goal was met and exceeded, from now on I will post paintings that are successful or might be of interest.

"Corgi" ©
This little Corgi has the largest ears you can imagine. He is a ranch dog and is willing to let me pet him as long as I would like. He will also fetch a stick just so that I can keep throwing it. His eyes speak volumes.

Hi Laura,
Since leaving DP I check back to your blog every few days to stay up with you. I love this painting of the Corgi...as I love most all of your work. I'm tempted to say, "missing you and wish you were here." What is it in your work that makes me think that?
I feel the same way Cheryl, it's as though we are all drifting but I think after the fall out Mark and Davids sites will bring everyone back under one umbrella. I really appreciate the comment on the Corgi, his name is Thunder.
great treatment of subject.,..you have a sensitivity with pet portraits/animals....must be some love there. :)
