Last week our community of daily painters decided to post "eggs" on Monday. Usually I paint landscapes outside, so this was really just plain fun. My sculpting roots reared up, as I "played" with the shells. The result of egg Monday and a bit of paint is "Egg Shell Nautilus".

The egg shell nautilus, is like a sculpture with landscape lighting. I like it very much. I can feel how fragile the shells were. And as in the nautilus life is a series of closed chambers: we can not go back. Humpty dumpty could not be put back together. Neat idea for a painting.
