"Kern River Fall" ©

Exceptional during the fall the river is draped in gold, the last display of color before barren branches declare winter has arrived.

Oil on canvas, 8" X 10"

Hi Laura,
I like the splash of color with the darker colors. Nice.

These are gorgeous, Laura...
Do you go up to Kern often??? My son and his wife own several cabins/cottages up there.
I should go up and paint, huh??

Oh yes Marian, it's a wonderful place to paint. The trees are probably close to being finished with their golden leaves. I don't get up as often as I would like, the same with the Bishop area. So many spots, so little time.
